A website that reflects how I actually practice.

After years of fine tuning my, hands-on acupuncture practice in Whistler, it was finally time to create a website that actually captured what I do and who I help.

The old site didn’t reflect the precision, structure, or impact of the work I do—especially with orthopedic acupuncture, dry needling, and performance-based care.

So I rebuilt it from the ground up, blending clean design with clear messaging to better serve both new and returning patients.

What I Wanted This Website to Do

I wanted it to feel like walking into the clinic—grounded, focused, and welcoming. I also needed it to:

  • Speak clearly to active individuals dealing with pain, injuries, or performance limitations

  • Offer a seamless way to book treatments, learn about the options, and know what to expect

  • Reflect my structured, results-oriented approach—while still creating space for rest and regulation

  • Be simple, easy to navigate, and aligned with how I work in real life

Celebrating Real Results with Video Testimonials

I added video testimonials to the site not just to build credibility—but to celebrate the people I work with. These stories highlight what’s possible when someone commits to their care and trusts the process.

Yes, they help new visitors feel more confident booking with me—but more importantly, they showcase real progress, real wins, and real people who got back to doing what they love.

These videos are about connection and shared success. They’re a way to say: Look what’s possible. And if you’re ready, I’d love to help you get there too.

Built-In Education Through the Blog

One of the intentional choices I made in this site build was to include a blog. It’s not just a nice-to-have—it’s a long-game strategy.

I wanted a space where I could share helpful resources, explain common conditions I treat, and offer home care advice patients can revisit anytime. Instead of repeating the same things session after session, I can now point people toward articles that expand on what we talked about—and support their progress between visits.

It’s also the foundation for what I hope to build in the future: a library of support, a hub for education, and maybe even an email series or newsletter to keep patients connected to their care.

This is how I see modern practice-building—efficient, grounded, and supportive inside and outside the clinic.

What's Inside the New Mend Website

What I Built Into This Site

  • A Straightforward Booking Flow
I’ve simplified booking so you can quickly get to the right type of treatment—no guesswork required. Whether you’re in pain or just in need of a reset, you’ll know exactly where to start.

  • Education Woven In
I believe that understanding your body is part of healing it. Throughout the site, you’ll find clear, simple explanations about what I do, why it works, and how you can take an active role in your care. Because informed patients get better, faster.

  • Real Talk About Results
You’ll find info about the phases of care I use in treatment plans (Reset, Recover, Maintain) and how your treatments are designed to build on each other over time. This is care with a plan, not just a quick fix.

  • A Design That Mirrors the Work
Clean, calm, focused, and a little earthy—just like the treatments themselves. The design is intentionally minimal so what matters (you, your goals, and your care) stays front and center.

Why It Matters

I believe in clarity, efficiency, and making sure you know what you're signing up for. This new site is part of that. My goal is always to help people move better, feel better, and live better—and now, that message finally comes through online too.

There’s too much to add to this post so, if you haven’t checked it out yet, you can see the full site here: 👉 www.mendhealth.ca
